Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has received numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). In New York, she was born into an creative family. She started as a photographic assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies got noticed and earned her recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition along with the Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
