Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise debuted in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the film. As a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to the glamour doll image she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three and she continued to live there throughout in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
