Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails born in St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on movies and TV shows like How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister named Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Three years ago She began her acting career professionally in a national Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen's career came to a halt for over three years, until she landed a lead role in the WB series Misconceptions. Momsen was also involved in the film Saving Shiloh in 2006. The audition she gave for the role of Hannah Montana was top 3. Miley gained the role.
