Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. Also, she was credited with taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from the age of five. As of 2009, she competed in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as at 2021). She's 5' 7 and weighs in the neighborhood of 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. She did well in her first games and finished at the top of the list out of 70. However she was unable to win any title she ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in second in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance she was able to win the games and became the first woman to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has appeared in advertisements of athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. Her own Youtube page is awash with over 1000 users, posting the videos of her family and trips along with training and diet plans.
